linaerys: (Silly Viking)

This was very bittersweet and so well done. Things I loved, in no particular order:

1. This explored the aftermath of the mind control really really well, which led very naturally to the relationship with Coulson.

2. I liked the way Natasha interrogated him--it was very *her*.

3. This made me think all kinds of thinky thoughts. At first the concept made me uncomfortable, but I also loved Anne McCaffrey's Ship Who . . . books, which are all about love affairs between people who can't touch, people whose bodies may not even exist as we understand them. I loved how love and arousal aren't dependent on bodies here, but the reality of being embodied or not, is still important.

4. And I took the Norse mythology expert Cornell grad as a personal shout out :D. Even if it wasn't.
